Got an invitation to the preview night for the Dallas International Art, Antique and Jewelry Show. It was such a wonderful event!!! There were so many gorgeous antiques and fine art pieces.

I had heard about the Vintage Lux showroom and I headed straight there. They had over 100 vintage designer bags. Most of which were Birkins. Amazing! I picked up these beauties! They're about the size of a golf ball from the 80's.

Living in Michaels craft stores

Whew!!! It's been a very hectic and busy few weeks for me at my new job at Bows and Arrows! It's been so rewarding and just FUN!!!! Something that we've been doing a lot of is photo shoot styling. Which I love!!

About a month ago we were asked my Michaels craft stores to help them change the look of their wedding department. We were given the task of creating 7 weddings based off their market research to then fully design using Michaels products. We basically got to Supermarket Sweep it up in Michaels. HOW FUN is that?? Any craft persons dream.

The themes ranged from Heirloom Romance to Whimsey Carnival. They were all so different and had their own feeling, look, couple, fashions, ect.

We shot them all in (plus their Easter campaign) in 3 and a half days. It was nuts!!!! Brought me back to my production days. We prepped each one for photography as well as videography for their website, iphone app, in store displays and print advertising. I pretty much have been living with half of Michaels inventory and know the store inside and out!

The campaign launches in January and here are some images my boss took! I wish we had more!! It was so fun. Exhausting but so rewarding!
