Yesterday, R moved out of his NYC apartment and will officially begin living in Dallas in mid-September. I'm thrilled! I'm still in shock that it's happened so quickly. I can't wait for him to be living in Dallas and for us to no longer be long distance. Plus, I've already started decorated his place in my head!
There is part of me that will miss him having his place in NYC. I always felt very "she-she" saying "We live both here and in New York" (Like hell we did. He had a place. But whatever.) He could still work up there from time to time so there will be plenty of chances to visit.
I had to pay o'mage to the things I'll miss most.
We discovered this gem while at a flea market in Brooklyn. This is the best Lobster Roll or sandwich for that matter, I've ever had. Shortly there after I started stalking this truck and making excuses to go to it every chance we got. The last time I was in New York, I HAD to get a lobster roll. R went with me in the pouring rain, to easily the opposite side of Manhattan to get one.

I've posted about my C Wonder love since I first went there last Fall. Again, I made every excuse to go to Prince Street to swing by. R even went there on his last day to pick up a shirt I had to have. Sigh, I'll miss you!
R had told me about Shake Shack when we first started dating. I couldn't wait to try it! The best location is in Madison Square Park and the line is always 75+ people deep. We've waited in that line, believe me, it was worth it! If we ever walked by and the line was short, we would eat there!
The NYC Subway System:
Probably a weird thing to miss public transportation. I always liked riding the subway. I never knew where I was going so when I finally figured out which way Uptown was, I was so excited! I could finally sorta navigate without R in the city. It was always the best people watching.
